“After leaving my native country, the Republic of Panama, Pennsylvania–most specifically Chester County–became my home for a number of years. It is where my professional career began and where I first became a part of an American community. In looking for a board I could support, I wanted a connection with a community I could understand and with work I could support in a holistic way.
MCHC’s work embodies what I believe to be the spirit of community impact. Its staff and board work collaboratively with one common purpose–to support, empower, and advocate for communities in need. What is compelling is what is most rewarding–having the opportunity to serve those in need and to do so with a group of dedicated individuals who understand that service is every citizen’s right and responsibility.”
