Julie Gates is a Physician Assistant with 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. She has volunteered with many local organizations including: Community Volunteers In Medicine, Chester County Fund for Women and Girls and Westtown School.
“I have worked and volunteered in the healthcare field for twenty years. More recently, I’ve become especially interested in improving the health of women and children living in poverty. When women in poverty receive assistance and support, what follows is a positive ripple effect to their children, their greater family, and outward to their entire community. MCHC has shown a long-standing commitment to improving the health of the neediest women and children in our community. MCHC uses evidence-based interventions, while also customizing and innovating for the particular needs of Chester County. As a healthcare provider, I understand that the “art of medicine” means using proven strategies in a way that works for each individual. MCHC uses evidence-backed programs to meet the particular needs of each of their clients in our diverse community.”
