Since 1995, MCHC has been working to ensure that children in Chester County start healthy, stay healthy, and succeed in school. We are honored to have received recognition for our work including:
- IMPACT Award by GlaxoSmithKline: For our organizational excellence in achieving outcomes for families, including measurably improving birth outcomes. MCHC is the only organization in the IMPACT Award’s fourteen-year history to be recognized three times (1998, 2005, and 2010).
- Seal of Excellence by the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO): Since 2009, MCHC has been certified under the Standards for Excellence® program. The program, a voluntary ethics and accountability program, includes an independent assessment based on 55 standards in several areas, including board governance, financial oversight, and program management. MCHC is one of approximately 60 certified nonprofit organizations in the entire state.
- Top-rated Nonprofit by GreatNonProfits: In 2011, MCHC was named a top-rated nonprofit through the recognition of our donors, volunteers, board members, and other supporters. Check out what they had to say about MCHC here.
MCHC also has a consistent record of reducing birth disparities in Chester County.
