Our Healthy Start program enrolled 559 new pregnant women.
97% of babies born to Healthy Start mothers in 2009 were born at a healthy birth weight.
The Family Center helped 93 families in southern Chester County prepare their preschool-age children with the skills they will need to succeed in school.
Our Family Health Advocates conducted maternal depression screenings for 463 pregnant women and 925 postpartum women.
MCHC’s Spanish Language Interpreters provided more than 2,000 hours of interpreting at appointments for Spanish speaking clients.
Our staff and community partners enrolled 2,014 uninsured individuals into health insurance programs such as Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program).
Healthy Start served 1,386 pregnant and parenting women.
The Family Center held a Transition to Kindergarten summer session attended by 36 children to prepare them to enter kindergarten in the fall. |
