The Whitford Golf Classic is the club's first "owned" event which will be held at Whitford Country Club in Exton on August 27 and 28, 2011.  MCHC is one of seven local beneficiaries.

Mariana Chilton, MPH, PhD, will be joining us this year as our Keynote Speaker of our Annual Luncheon. Dr. Chilton is a widely acclaimed expert on the impact of hunger on young children’s health.  She is an Associate Professor of Public Health at the Drexel University School of Public Health, and leads several initiatives which address hunger and poverty among children and their families.  She and her work, including her recent collaboration with Sesame Workshop, have been featured on “Good Morning, America” and in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune.

Chester County Women of Achievement

Maryann Mesure is being honored with the March of Dimes Chester County Women of Achievement Award for Excellence in the Field of Health at their annual awards dinner on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Mendenhall Inn.  She and some other staff attended the announcement reception, Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
