MCHC is pleased to announce the hiring of Alain Oliver, MBA, as its new Executive Director. “Alain brings a valuable combination of experience in non-profit management, finance, and organizational development,” said Beverly Moyer, Board President. “We are confident that, under Alain’s leadership, MCHC will continue to have a measurable impact on the health of families in Chester County.”
Alain has over 12 years of management experience in the non-profit sector. Most recently, he was the Director of Operations & Finance of the Latin American Community Center (LACC), a non-profit in Wilmington, Delaware. In this role, he oversaw the operations of the non-profit with a $5 million budget and nearly 50 programs. While at LACC, Alain also directed Healthy Homes and Lead-based Paint Poisoning Prevention Program, a multi- million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. In conjunction with the Delaware Department of Public Health, this initiative used a multi-level approach to prevent lead-based paint poisoning and promote healthy and safe environments for young children.
Alain also brings a passion and depth of knowledge of organizational and leadership development over a range of platforms. He has designed and led leadership seminars, executive coaching sessions, and teambuilding exercises.

Alain holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Emory University. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, was born in Cuba, and shortly thereafter immigrated to the United States. Alain resides in West Chester with his wife and four young children.
